The Annual Fund Your tax-deductible donation to the Opera North Annual Fund sustains the company’s excellence on a day-to-day basis and provides much-needed support for the full scope of Opera North’s annual activities. The Young Artist Angels The Young Artist Angels give annual gifts of $1,000 and more, specifically in support of Opera North’s Young Artist Program. “Angels” sponsor particular singers and act as their local hosts during the summer, attending rehearsals and private receptions, entertaining them, and enjoying the rewards of directly supporting America’s emerging opera talent. For over 25 years, Opera North has played a key role in the life of the Upper Valley: 88% of the audience comes from Vermont or New Hampshire; some 6,500 local volunteers have supported the company over the years; and more than 250,000 local citizens have attended performances. The Opera North Endowment Fund Gifts to the Opera North Endowment Fund are invested for the future; the principal is preserved in perpetuity, and the annual proceeds from interest earnings are re-invested into Opera North’s annual budget. Gifts can be made in support of specific programs, or in memory or honor of special people in your life. Gifts to the Endowment contribute directly to a strong future for Opera North and future generations. Bequests & Planned Gifts Designating Opera North as a beneficiary in your will or estate plan is a simple process that can have a lasting impact on the company’s future.
